Rats were the obvious scapegoat, spreading the disease with their bites.
Crows were just there to clean up the mess.

So then they chose YOU...

CROWS ARE BEING BLAMED AND HUNTED..

Well, you'll show them a plague... 

Pillage your way south to escape the harsh winter, while killing and pillaging all those unfortunate enough to cross your path.

Team up with satan (and friends, soon) and take vengeance on these filth ridden peasants, stupid enough to hunt the corvidae family.
